I am consistently not great at being active on this site. To all those that follow me and anyone else, we are getting closer to something significant. I’ve sent invitations to some of you, but still you don’t see the potential. Maybe it’s because most of us don’t really know each other, so a lot of sincerity and passion is lost in communicating through text alone. If you are interested in hearing what I’m putting together, send me a message. I want everyone to be a part of it, and it wouldn’t take much work on your part other than doing what you’re probably already doing (which could be creating art, music, or writing for the sake of self fulfillment). Things can be better for all of is, but not without a little trust and patience. If you are reading this, I hope to hear from you soon.

With love,

David Luna

The Annual #7 is being printed as we speak! So, what does the first Annual of the new year hold? How about a fascinating interview with Greg Proops, Whose Line cast member and Smartest Man in The World. But it doesn’t end there, The Annual #7 is more than 6 pages long and it brings the anticipated return of Animals Fighting, and the conclusion of Briana Haynie’s Oral History of Sea Tea Improv. Still not sold? Do you like Twitter? Groundhog Day? In/Out Lists and self-referential humor? Because The Annual#7 has all of that!

Don’t show this to my girlfriend yet, it’s a surprise.

Most of my followers don’t know much about me at all, other than the fact that I draw things and post them here on occasion and that’s about it. I live in Delaware, I’m 22, and I work a job cleaning houses. And I love cartooning, and interviewing people, and coming up with stories.

For the past year, I’ve been contributing to a new bi monthly humor publication called The Annual , founded by my good friend Kevin Cole. In all but 1 of the seven issues that have been assembled, I interviewed entertainers, folks like John Safran Ron Funches , The Amazing Atheist , Colin Mochrie , and most recently Greg Proops. I also submitted installments of a regular comic called Animals Fighting, which I will be posting here in hopes that someone patient enough will read it and critique it. Here is the first issue of the comic, some art relating to it, and a taste of what’s to come.
